16GB of internal memory or a SDHC card gives 1080 pixels of glorious eye-candy
RATING /  PRICE
5 Star /  RM 5000

WE LOVE
-Beautiful colours
-Classy 12x zoom
-Manual features
-16GB memory

WE HATE
-Price

WE SAY
-A winner.

From its glitter-infused black casing to its luminous 2.7-inch LCD the HF10 is a work of art.
It's ergonomic too, with a thumb-friendly mode dial, ever-so-rockable zoom lever and duplicate controls by the side of the screen. Recording to either 16GB of internal memory or a SDHC card gives 1080 pixels of glorious eye-candy, including the most vibrant, natural colours on test and crisp, confident detail.
You've got good manual controls, a photo flash and a frankly disappointing video light. Only slightly grainy skin tones lets the optical side down.
For all these pluses, the HF10 isn't as small nor light as Panasonic SD9, nor as metallically elegant as the Sony TG3 -- and it's pricier than both. Still a superb class-winning act.
